The Committee

- promotes the conservation, preservation, worthy use  of historic monuments and sites and validation of their values – both in national and international level;

- elaborates and implements its own activity programme on national level, in accordance with goals and aspirations of ICOMOS;

- implements decisions of the ICOMOS General Assembly, realises the program proposals of the Consultative and Executive Committees;

- promotes the validation of internationally accepted principles and methods of protection of monuments, historic ensembles and sites, as well as national and international exchanges on their development and application.

The Committee is composed by individual, legal, supporting and honorary members of ICOMOS
